Acupuncture & herbal support can not only balance the endocrine system to overcome infertility, it can also provide relief from morning sickness, low back/pelvic pain, headaches, depression, sleep issues, and much more! We can also connect you with TCM Placenta Encapsulation specialists.
Moxibustion is another favored aspects of TCM in which your practitioner will hold lit mugwort incense inches above specific energy points to stimulate the shift of subtle energy without the use of needle filaments. Many herbal teas and tinctures can support the stages of pregnancy, lactation and postnatal recovery.
Prenatal Watsu® gives the mother-to-be a deep sense of connection with her baby and vice versa. Watsu® is used frequently, often weekly, during pregnancy, especially during the last trimester. Both mother and child experience a new freedom and expansion benefiting both. Tamara is our principal Watsu® provider and has over 600 hours of Watsu® training. She is passionate about aquatic therapy and healing. Her prenatal float sessions are amazing and for the deepest healing she offers a couple's float where your birthing partner bond is strengthened as you hold each other with care, in the water.
Prenatal Belly Henna
Traditionally hennaing the pregnant mother is a blessing to mother and baby for safe birthing and the celebration of new life. The perfect way to adorn yourself for your baby shower, Blessingway, maternity photos, and delivery! Every belly henna is designed by the mother and the artist together to make a beautiful and meaningful henna design. It is such a lovely experience to have your belly decorated and something you will remember forever. Henna body art is an ancient way to honor the pregnant woman's inner strength as she prepares for birth. The henna plant paste painlessly stains the outer layer of the skin and then gradually fades away over 2 weeks. The design lasts about as long as a bouquet of flowers.
A Blessingway, or Mother’s Blessing, is a celebration of pregnancy and becoming a mother that focuses more on the mother than the baby. During a Blessingway, a group of her closest friends will come together and honor her pregnancy and journey into motherhood. They will offer words of wisdom around preparing for birth and postpartum and often include a small ceremony to mark the occasion. Not only are blessingways a beautiful way to honor a mother, but is also changing the way we as humans view birth. Somewhere along the way, we have forgotten that it is our purpose to bring new life to Earth, this is what we do, we create love! Bringing back into the light the sacred ceremony of a Blessingway, we are reopening a chapter for women, men, and families to view birth as a sacred rite.

Prenatal Meal Planning
Every week something else is needed for the building blocks of baby, and mother needs extra support too! Busting the "Eating for Two" ideology, we empower you to eat twice the quality of food and will help you get there with guided prenatal/postpartum meal plans and meal prepping. Rooted in indigenous practices we aim to prepare the body and baby for birth and then spend the first 40 days after birth on a strict diet of warming and drying elemental food groups and herbal support. This compliments perfectly with Placenta Encapsulation and Belly Wrapping.
Breastfeeding: Birth & Beyond
A class encompassing the longer term breastfeeding paradigm. Issues such as how long to breastfeed your baby for optimal health and how to maintain your health and supply as well as pumping and milk storage during that time are addressed as each mother creates a lactation plan for their child based on their intentions and lifestyle. Learn everything you need to know about how breast milk is made, what it can do for you and your baby, and the impact it has on your childbearing experience.
When needed we will refer you to experienced lactation consultants in our area, but often empowered education can help you through hurdles. Breastfeeding isn't always easy, but it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to gift your
baby a head start.

Indigenous Wisdom Healing
A worthwhile retreat experience for any expectant mother would be our Mayan Mama service that is part of our Passport to Pampering Collection.
This is more than a prenatal massage, we will begin with a coffee and cacao brown sugar scrub to activate the immune function of the body in a safe and natural way while also stimulating the skin, removing all that no longer serves you and leaving you with a even bigger pregnancy glow! Next you'll enjoy a deeply restorative prenatal massage that includes Mayan Abdominal Belly Massage. To complete the retreat we will journey through sound and spoken word meditatively connecting with your body and baby while you receive an aloe & jade stone facial.
Wrap for Wellness
Bengkung belly binding is the art of wrapping a postpartum women's belly for physical support and to help the recovery process after childbirth. Moms are traditionally wrapped as soon after birth as possible, ideally on day five and then worn for 40 days or longer as needed. This belly binding technique is rooted in Malaysian culture however various countries and cultures around the world use a form of belly binding to help support the healing process. Provides postural support for the torso and organs as they return to
pre-pregnancy position while supporting abdominal wall healing and diastasis recti recovery.
Supports the body's natural spine & posture realignment post birth.
Pressure on the torso and abdomen hastens healing by reducing water and air in the tissue and cells.
Stabilizes loose ligaments and
relieves lower back aches and strains.
Prevents slouching while feeding or holding your child.
