Bye Bye Cellulite

Updated: Oct 17

Another profound application of the negative pressure technique is in the treatment of cellulite. The upscale spa industry has a myriad of equipment to choose from to treat cellulite, and Baguanfa performs many of those same functions manually, and with much less discomfort. Light pressure provides drainage, while the heavier applications can be used to stimulate circulation and loosen the connective tissues or orange peel appearance.

Restore flow and appearance to areas affected by cellulite with a targeted cupping therapy session. A variety of cups are used to loosen the connective tissue and chambers comprising the cellulite. Long term stagnation of the lymphatic system is a key factor in the creation of cellulite. This entrapment causes a hardening of the once elastic septa layer of skin, causing it to bear down on the fat cells below. Thus, cellulite care is largely focused on restorative Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Best results are achieved when this treatment is completed in a full treatment series.

During a full Cellulite Treatment Series the service is enhanced through the use of an Herbal Thermae Wrap to stimulate the Septa and detoxify the tissues as part of your fight against Cellulite.

The affected areas should be treated prior to any body wrapping, to enhance the absorption of the topical. The temperature of moist packs used to heat the wrap is made more effective thanks to the circulation has already been stimulated and brought to the surface during the cupping treatment, so a more comfortable and effective wrap is made possible.

Benefits of cellulite cupping

- Powerful Lymphatic Drainage - Loosens Adhesions & Connective Tissue - Moves Stagnation - Increases Circulation - Clears Toxins

For best results we recommend you start with a 6 Treatment Series that includes 2 - 90 minute Full Body Cellulite Thermae treatments, and an additional 4 - 30 minute Cellulite Cupping Services that will treat 2 to 3 high priority zones of the body. This Commitment to you Care is rewarded with a savings off the total service price if these treatments were purchased separately and includes your own set of Body Brushes and Cellulite Care Herbal Mist at the completion of your series so that you can maintain your amazing results at home.

This amazing value is priced at $444

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite can be seen on the skin in widespread alterations of the skin surface and dimpling. There is a part of our skin called Septa, and if, for a number of reasons, the septa becomes dry and devoid of proper circulation, the subsequent collapse makes underlying fat globules more readily appear in the texture of the skin, causing a less than desirable skin surface.

Unfortunately cellulite, unlike ‘regular’ fat, is not simply correlated with how much you eat and how much exercise you do. Rather, cellulite can appear even if you are very lean, and it is actually more connected to hormonal issues, genetics and then some lifestyle factors.

In women the hormonal changes during their menstrual cycle, menopause and pregnancy can affect the flow of blood, and the lymphatic drainage of fluids and this is what can lead to cellulite. Anything that alters the hormone balance may result in either more or less cellulite including things like birth control pills.

Another way in which hormones can impact cellulite is by altering the thickness of the skin – as hormones also control tissues and fat. Women are also more likely to develop cellulite because their fat layer is organized differently to men. In women the ‘fat chambers’ are arranged more loosely rather than in the compact diagonals that they are in men, and this means there is simply more space for them to build up and swell.

Age also can increase the likelihood of cellulite forming as the skin becomes thinner, and because the number of fat cells and lymph reduce. Women have septa orientation at right angels to the skin surface, and those with cellulite have an irregular septa conformation, with some septa being hypertrophic-thickened, and others being narrowed-lysed. Magnetic resonance imaging has confirmed that cellulite depressions are associated with a significant increase of thickness of underlying subcutaneous fibrous septa.
